Set to be the biggest yet, AVCon 2010 is gearing up to present you with the latest and greatest in anime, video games, and Australian gaming development. We’ve swept the valleys and searched the hilltops to create a convention overflowing with Australia's costuming and artistic talent. No stone has been left unturned as we secure exhibitors, screenings, panels and many other exciting events, to ensure that Adelaide’s AVCon is your one and only destination for an unforgettable 2010.
With AVCon over, the last round of qualifications for the Madman National Cosplay Championships are complete. Over at Madman they've announced the all the qualifying round winners and three wild card finalists.
We here at Team AVCon would like to congratulate local girl Carly on receiving one of those three wild cards and wish her the best of luck for the final. And if you can believe it, its her first time cosplaying.
Team AVCon Inc would like to thank each and everyone one of the over 5,000 unique people who came to AVCon 2010 this year! We do hope you had an awesome time, and that we'll see you (and one or two or ten of your friends) again next year!
